What about the situation where someone signs up for a service with
another provider, then ports their number to L2? Or you get someone
else's disconnected old number that used to subscribe as your L2, and
the messages start again?

Personally I hate the entire concept of reverse-charging for SMS -
"text 12345 & you'll be charged £1.50 by your network for *sending*
the text, and you get the latest & greatest Crazy Frog ringtone back
as a free SMS" sounds better to me.

Wonder when someone will be able to call me collect, and I'll just get
billed for it with no warning....
