Are you sure about this? We where doing some work with a company who
also supplied those premium rate sms short codes had a wap push interface.
My understanding of their api was that the wap push was essential a specialy
code sms message (aka Smart Message) hence your phone would not know what
it was until it was delivered. Thus switching off wap push would just
auto deleted the message once arrived.

If it had been delivered from a reverse charge number then in theory you
would be charged.
