When I first called (around midnight) they knew about it and could see
that it had been reported. Since then the only one who could find
anything relevant said that there was a report about 2am "because the
traffic to surrounding cells was abnormal".

I'm not going to call the individual operators liars, but Orange was
lying on one call or the other.

Now, how would giving my IMEI help them diagnose a problem affecting
upwards of 20 different handsets in one geographical area. :-)
